Albuquerque Tzedek Collective presents:

Queer Cinema for Palestine: No Pride in Genocide

Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP) is a collectively-curated global film festival, No Pride in Genocide, a short film program. QCP celebrates queer realities and standing in solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom, justice, and dignity. See film program details here.

This QCP screening is a fundraiser for mutual aid supporting queer folks locally and in Palestine: Al Qaws for Sexual and Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society (@alqaws_org) and ABQ + Community Fund(@abqpluscommunityfund) a BIPOC trans mutual aid fund.

Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP) announces No Pride in Genocide, a global film event, co-organized by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI). The fourth edition of QCP invites grassroots, solidarity and arts organizations across the world to host screenings of a stellar collectively curated short film program throughout the month of June 2026.

Queer Cinema for Palestine began as an alternative ethical space for filmmakers who pulled or refused to show their work in the Israeli government-sponsored TLVFest LGBTQ Film Festival. Over the past six years, hundreds of filmmakers have shown their solidarity in response to the boycott call from queer and trans Palestinians. As Israel continues its genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, the West Bank, and across historic Palestine and throughout the region, we condemn this violence and the might-makes-right order, and stand in solidarity with Palestinians.

Israel continues to attempt to instrumentalize our identities as queer and trans people to justify its genocide against Palestinians, including murdering, blackmailing, and imprisoning queer and trans Palestinians. Accordingly, QCP will take place during June 2026, the month that marks Pride in many countries worldwide. We do so to continue our refusal of Israel’s pinkwashing. This year’s program focuses on the work of queer, Palestinian, and allied artists, across locales, in historic Palestine and the diaspora, identities, lengths, styles and genres to highlight art’s position in resistance and the struggle for liberation.

About our mutual aid recipients

Al Qaws for Sexual and Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society (@alqaws_org) is a queer, feminist, anti-colonial, grassroots organization aiming to be at the forefront of Palestinian cultural and social change. The organization works to build LGBTQ+ communities and promote new ideas about the role of gender and sexual diversity in political activism, civil society institutions, media, and everyday life. Their activities include a national hotline supporting trans people, local community discussion events about sexuality, and a training program for leaders in Palestinian institutions such as schools, youth groups, and human rights organizations.

The ABQ+ Community Fund (@abqpluscommunityfund) is a collective of BIPOC trans and queer organizers working in solidarity to support our queer and gender-expansive community of the global majority in the Greater Albuquerque area to survive and thrive. We are the only mutual aid fund in Albuquerque that provides direct cash transfers to BIPOC trans, queer & gender-expansive individuals to address their self-identified needs.
