The Trans Love Project is a documentary by Charlie and Stacy from TNET that follows our three trans friends, Shuly, River, and Eli, loving each other and doing life together here in Albuquerque. We pair interviews and stories with footage of them doing everyday things. The purpose of this documentary is to normalize trans people being in love and to have a real-life depiction of adult trans people living, thriving, and loving. In a world where too many trans youth aren’t growing up to be trans adults, we set out to offer hope for a future where trans people can just exist together, which is a radical act in and of itself.
