Director in person!

A 2026 indie dark-fantasy parody adventure short film based on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (2000) video game!  Written and directed by Ivan Castañeda, the film stars Kylie Brooks and Ashton Oper. With a low budget produced by Crystal Sandoval, Juan and Ivan Castañeda, the story follows a group of friends who are searching for their missing friend, Mark (John Garrett), only to discover that he’s been possessed by the ancient and malevolent mask (Majora’s Mask).  They then face the demonic character in order to save their friend while the mask attempts to pull the moon to Earth.
