New Mexico Under Ground - Cave #37 vol. 12 - Dir. Dan Otero, Albuquerque - NMU is a caving team currently focused on filming the hundreds of caves in New Mexico. This volume details the rappel into and ascent out of an amazing cave in southern New Mexico. TRT 14MIN

Black Eagle Flying Free - Dir. Brad Stoddard,  Rio Rancho - Flying free is a music video compilation of Black Eagle while recording their album, which went on to garner a Grammy Award for Best Native American Traditional recording. Included are various Black Eagle performances as well as the studio recording. TRT 4MIN

Fairy Tracks: In Search of the Spirit in Nature - Dir. Jerry Wellman, Santa Fe - This lyrical documentary investigates our relationship to the natural world. It establishes the existence of hidden perfections, the value in the unknown, the need to cultivate innocence, and most importantly, the spiritual sustenance that permeates throughout nature. Sacred Alliance - Dir. Autumn Chacon & Thomas Andrews, Albuquerque - A story of one of Albuquerque’s greatest recent battles on the west side facing the Petroglyphs. TRT 13MIN 

Reservation War Parties - Dir. Angelique Midthunder, Santa Fe - Based on true events, and sprung from the memory of a 10 year boy, it shows what can happen when fun & games turn to danger under the influence of alcohol for Native Americans living on a reservation while offering hope for the future. The Last Trek - Dir. Ramona Emerson, Albuquerque - Navajo Elder Helena Bitsilly is one of the few Navajo people who still make the long and arduous journey on foot twice a year to take their sheep to distant grazing lands. Soledad Marjon Hindi, Albuquerque – A trilingual (Nahuatl, Spanish, and English) performance piece that tells the story of maquiladora workers in Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico. I Yam What I Yam - Dir. Bryan Konefsky, Albuquerque - In 1929 monocular vision was not limited to the gaze of telescopes (Edwin Hubble) or movie cameras (Dziga Vertov).  1929 was also the year that the one-eyed, “strong to the finish” sailor named Popeye was first introduced to the United States as a comic strip character.  And, even after 75 years and 234 movies, Popeye’s rebel yell for the common good, “I yam what I yam” still resonates with the hope and conviction of his visionary colleagues. The Unfinished Films of Toby Beyron - Dir. Stephen Ausherman, Albuquerque - The global journey of a grief-stricken photographer revealed through a docu-anthology of his fragmented film work.  This version is the extended remix of the winning selection in the ABQ Local Shorts Film Fest 2006.  TRT 22MIN
