2012 - 30m - A Metropolitan Homelessness Project Presentation! - A FREE BUT SEATING IS LIMITED!

A documenting of a community-wide initiative to address issues of Albuquerque homelessness and housing in creative new ways.  

For three mornings in 2011, hundreds of volunteers canvassed the City of Albuquerque at 4 AM in the morning to interview and assess needs of people found sleeping on the streets, under bridges and in the Bosque.  This 30-minute documentary explores those needs and our community's response, while sharing the very real lives and courage of people overcoming severe circumstances.  It is both a celebration of their achievements and a challenge for even better coordinated efforts to make experiences of homelessness rare, short-lived and non-recurring.
